DOSING for tinctures:
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon 3 times day or as directed by healthcare professional. May add to water or juice. Remember to drink at least 64 oz pure water daily.

L. purpureum, or purple/spotted dead nettle is not related to the nettles. It is of the genus Lamium belonging to the mint family, not the nettle family. "Dead" in the name "dead-nettle" refers to the inability of Lamium species to sting like true nettles. Dead Nettle is known for astringent, diuretic, diaphoretic, anti-inflammatory, antifungal, and antibacterial properties. Dosing:
For mild symptoms or if you "feel" something coming on: 1 Tablespoon every three hours until symptoms subside.
For colds & flu: 1 oz every two hours for four hours. Then 1 oz every four hours until symptoms subside. May cause upset stomach, but this is nothing to be concerned about.
